  1. The Graveyard of the Atlantic The truth behind the Bermuda Triangle By Shruti Kumthekar Grade 5 Mrs.Agramonte’s class

  2. Flight 19 • On December 5,1945, four Avenger Torpedo Bombers left at 2:10 P.M. Led by Charles Taylor, the planes were suppose to practice bombing. Then, trouble started. Taylor radioed saying that he didn’t know where they where. He also said that the compasses where failing. The last time Taylor called was after 6:00. No one knows what happened to these ‘Iron Birds’. And that was one of the many famous incidences in the Bermuda Triangle.

  3. The Devil’s Triangle The Bermuda Triangle is located between an area in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida. For as long as anyone could remember, the Triangle has engulfed many private, charter aircrafts, ships and boats who dared to enter it’s deadly wrath. Some of the most famous incidences are the Mary Celeste, USS Cyclopes, and the Star Tiger. But what happened to these machines? Read on to find out.

  4. Theories • Many people think differently on what might happen in the area. Some think it happens because of piracy, human errors, fires, storms, mechanical failures, enormous sea monsters, giant squid, extraterrestrials, and plain old bad luck. “The region is highly traveled & has been a busy crossroad since the early days of European exploration,” says John Reily from the U.S Naval Historical Foundation.

  5. What we know. No one knows what it’s like to be in the Triangle. Those who did come out, were never hurt. Those who got into the actual accident never lived to tell the tale. But we do know some things: 1. The first major disappearance was in 1950. 2. There is gulf stream in the Triangle. [warm current of the North Atlantic Ocean] 3.It is home of the deepest underwater trenches in the world. 4.Most of the water there is at least 19,000 ft!

  6. What I Think • I think that there are gulf streams in the Bermuda Triangle. I think that the theories about sea monsters and extraterrestrials are totally out rated and that these stories where made up long ago to describe these mysterious disappearances. That’s why I think this all happens because of gulf stream and a strong magnetic force field.
