  2. Logging In Mouse Over the Studentslink on the campus or district website Click on the 8th Grade TLA link

  3. 8th Grade TLA Login Screen Students will enter their STUDENT ID for both the User ID and Password Click the Continue button to login.

  4. License Agreement Have students read the Terms of Use Have students click on the Agree button to continue

  5. Home Screen and My Courses Students will see the Home Screen Have students click on My Courses

  6. Student Technology Proficiency Have students click on either the Windows/Office 2003 or Windows/Office 2007 link Students should test on the Operating System and/or Office version they feel more comfortable with. There is a MAC version under the LIBRARY – Simple Assessment link

  7. POST-ASSESSMENT Make sure students select the POST-ASSESSMENT link for the assessments they will take.

  8. Test Notification Window A new window will open called the Test Notification window. Have students click the Start Test button to begin the assessment.

  9. Do Your Best! Although the Technology Literacy Assessment is not part of the TAKS, not a “real” test, or “doesn’t count” it still provides valuable information that will allow us to recommend new technology for you and your school so please take your time and do your best!
