  2. Agenda • iSERS Overview • Error Collection

  3. iSERS Overview Tenant Certifications (HUD 50059) and Voucher Payment Requests (HUD 52670) are submitted by the Industry users as text files electronically via integrated Multifamily Access Exchange (iMAX). There are 3 point of discovery for errors related to tenant/voucher: Certification/Voucher Review process; Management Occupancy Review (MOR) process; Resident Complaint process.

  4. iSERS Overview – Cont’d iSERS will provide HUD management with the ability to collect and analyze errors for their impacts to Project-Based Section 8 subsidy payments and funding; to achieve the goal of reducing improper payments. Additionally, it will provide visibility into the value of the contract administrator efforts in resolving errors, and the efforts taken to ensure that the error occurrence is reduced, and where possible, eliminated.

  5. Error Collection – Requirements • Accept submissions from Industry users for errors identified from one and/or all 3 point of discoveries. • Certification/Voucher review process; optional • Management Occupancy Review (MOR) process • Resident Complaint process; optional

Error Collection – Chapter 7 (MAT80) • ERRHR: iSERSHeader Record • MAT80 Section 1: Error Reporting Header Record • MAT80 Section 2: Containing errors not attributable to a specific member • MAT80 Section 3: Identifying a member by number who has an error • ERRND: iSERS Batch Trailer Record • ERRER: iSERS MAT Error Record • ERRTR: iSERS Trailer Record

  7. Error Collection – System Functions • iMAX accepts MAT80 along with Section 1 and/or Section 2 and/or Section 3 Submissions from Industry • iMATperforms edit validations on the transmission; Valid records are loading into MAT oracle table • iMAT generates submission errors when applicable and return them to sender • iMAT uploads error-free iSERS MAT data to iSERS Oracle database
