Resolve V. = verb - a word (such as jump, think, happen, or exist) that is usually one of the main parts of a sentence and that expresses an action, an occurrence, or a state of being Definition 1 (v.)to find a solution Example 1 Joanna and Alejandra resolved their differences and shook hands. Definition 2 (v.)to find a solution Example 2 Lady Macbeth resolved to whip her husband into shape.
