  1. Is Volunteering Good for Health?

  2. Volunteering is considered good for your mental as well as physical health. By investing your time and efforts for a noble cause you are not only helping the helpless but also improving your overall well-being. Studies in this regard have revealed that volunteering helps keep mental health issues like depression away and you are less likely to feel lonely. The benefits don’t stop here. It has been found that volunteers above the age of 50 are having reduced chances of developing high blood pressure when compared to those who are not volunteers. This benefit can be because of the fact that as a volunteer, a person will have to engage in a number of activities that require physical movement. There are a number of different causes for which you can volunteer. If you are from a developed country, you can always choose to extend your help to under-privileged fellow humans in developing countries. Afro Edge lets you do just that!
