Academic Plans
  • You will meet with your mentor teacher to create an academic plan based on your grade level and individual needs.
  • Academic plans can be altered throughout the school year.
  • The plan is a guide for teachers, students, and parents to ensure a successful year.

  • The Sheridan AllPrep Academy web site has links to all of the online curriculum. User names and passwords will be assigned to each student for Acellus and e2020. Students need to obtain their own user name and password for the JASON Project.

student schedules
Student Schedules
  • Keeping a regular weekly schedule is the most important factor in student success.
  • Students should be spending six hours a day on class work.
  • Class work includes interacting with the online curriculum, reading, writing, problem solving, networking, meeting with your teacher, and completing independent projects.
  • Parents must check their students in to the attendance portal on the web page every day.
  • The process is simple, but very important:
    • Type the student’s first and last name
    • Click “Submit”
    • There will not be any confirmation, but the information will reach the school.
  • In addition to regular, daily attendance, students must check in with one of their teachers at least twice a week. This must be two-way communication via phone, virtual office, text, or face-to-face (during home visits).

Submitting Assignments
  • Students using Acellus and e2020 will submit assignment via the online portal.
  • Paper assignments and individual projects can be scanned or photographed and emailed to teachers. All assignments will be submitted virtually. Acceptable ways to turn in assignments:
    • Scan
    • Photo
    • Email
    • Text
  • If you have questions about how to submit a particular assignment, please contact your mentor teacher or the principal.
office hours
Office Hours
  • Students must check in with at least one teacher twice a week during office hours.
    • Caren – Mondays: 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm
    • Jesse – Tuesdays: 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm
    • Lisa – Wednesdays: 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm
  • Office hours will begin the week of September 10th, after initial home visits.
computer lab
Computer Lab
  • The computer lab located in the Sheridan office will be open three days a week. It will be monitored by one of the teachers.
  • Students must maintain appropriate behavior while using the computer lab.
  • Schedule:
    • Tuesdays – 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
    • Wednesdays – 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
    • Thursdays - 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
  • The Computer Lab will be open beginning the week of September 10th.
field trips
Field Trips
  • We will have four field trips during the school year to OMSI.
  • Specific field trip information will be posted on the web site as it is scheduled.
computer loans
Computer Loans
  • Students may check out a laptop to complete their work.
  • There is a $50 refundable materials deposit for the laptops.
  • Laptops must be returned in good condition with the power cord.
