  1. #16 - R Siliciano: Das „Instanteous Inhibitory Potential“ IIP • Ein schon auf der Mexico-Konferenz vorgestelltes, jetzt erweitertes hypothetisches Modell zur Abschätzung der virologischen Potenz von Einzelsubstanzen und –Kombinationen aus deren pharmakokinetischen und pharmakologischen Eigenschaften • Grundhypothese – und ein neues Paradigma – ist die Annahme, dass die geringe residuale Virämie unter HAART (1.) aus stabilen Reservoiren stammt, (2.) dort keine oder wenig virale Evolution stattfindet und (3.) diese Virämie ohne wesentliche Bedeutung für den langfristigen Erfolg der Therapie ist.
