Standard#1- Learner Development

The teacher understands how learners grow and develop, recognizing that patterns of learning and development vary individually within and across the cognitive, linguistic, social, emotional, and physical areas, and designs and implements developmentally appropriate and challenging learning experiences.

Description- This assignment is a power point of why early childhood education is important to start off with and can influence a person later off in life.

Rationale- I chose standard one because we are trying to understand how the early childhood, or head start, children are developing so this standard fits them well.
