  5. American Four Square League Meets Tuesday and Thursday from 2:45-3:45 in the Annex • Have fun learning and employing four-square techniques. • Please see Davis Davis and Jesus Barragan for more information!

  6. Join AP Club! • Have you recently passed an AP Test? • Do you like planning parties? • Do you want tutoring for an AP exam? • Colleges look for club activities in their students! • We meet on Fridays in room 1251. • See you there!

  7. Mastery Model Tutoring Helping you improve your English skills • How does this program work? • Retake your exams! All you have to do is attend some tutoring sessions • There will be group tutoring to help you score higher on your retake exams • All tutoring will take place in the library • You will need at least 3 hours of tutoring to be eligible to retake your exams Need help in mastering your English class? Want to earn a better grade? Receive a 5% grade increase when you retake the test regardless of score. Then Join us! Summative 1 Tutoring Date: November 5th—8th, 2013 Time: 2:30pm—4:30pm

  10. 7-2 Go Cardinals! Hoover Football This Week Congratulations Varsity football team for their win on Friday against Lincoln by a score of 32-12.

  11. OPEN Wrestling Room every Tuesday and Thursday. • We also have Strength Training in the weight room Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Everyone is welcome. • Meet right after school by the wrestling room (in back of the Big Gym under the upper bleachers). • Come work out and learn new moves and/or what the sport of wrestling is all about. We are looking for male and female wrestlers of all sizes. Come see if you have what it takes!     Coach Hoskisson

  17. A ATTENTION SENIORSCLASS OF 2014 College Application Workshops When: October 1-November 30 Location: Career Center Computer Lab Time: Monday-Friday 2:30-4:00pm (afterschool) Receive one-on-one help with your CSU, UC, & Private School Applicationsfrom the CAC Team.

  18. Detention This Week • Detention will be held every day after school in Room 405/Computer Lab.  • Please tell students to enter through the outside door, not the Library.  • Detention starts at 2:30 and ends at 3:30.  • Students must be ON TIME to receive detention credit. 

  19. Saturday School this Saturday November 9th, 2013 8:00am-12:00pm. Come and clear your detentions and get off the LOP list. Students will meet no later than 8am in the front quad where they will be assigned a classroom for the four hours. Students must stay in Saturday School for the entire four hours to receive credit. All Saturday School dates will soon be up on the Hoover website calendar.
