  5. 2. An Inadequacy that is Universal (5:3-4)

  6. Why is John so shaken? Because unless someone worthy is found, God’s purposes of salvation and judgment would not occur.

  7. Why didn’t God do it? Because it needed to be aman.

  8. 3. A King that is Qualified (5:5-7) • He is the “lion of the tribe of Judah” • He is the “root and offspring of David” • He is the “lamb that was slain yet has triumphed”
