Nagybajom - 1981.július 7. Budapest) Irodalomtörténész, író, műfordító, egyetemi tanár a Baumgarten-díj (1933, 1937, 1946), a Francia Becsületrend (1937) és az Állami Díj II. fokozatának (1970) kitüntetettje ebben a házban élt 1945-től haláláig.
