The Ali Mountain Range The Ali Mountain Range is located in Chiayi County, which is almost near the central part of Taiwan. And Ali Mountain is well world known for its ‘five wonders’, including the sunrise, the Ali Mountain Forest Railway, the sacred trees, the sea of clouds, and the flamboyant cherry blossom.   11. GUIDE REMINDER Home The Ali Mountain Forest Railway is regarded as one of three main mountain-climbing railways in the world. As you take the train from the bottom of Ali Mountain to the top, the train would pass through four kinds of forest – of the tropic, subtropical, temperate and frigid zone. 2

The lake is parted to two sections by Lalu Island.Interestingly, the eastern part of the lake is formed like the sun and the western side is shaped like a crescent moon. 1

  18. GUIDE REMINDER Home The floors of the skyscraper number 101, which is reflected in its name. Due to it height, a 900-ton tuned mass damper is installed on the 87th floor to reduce the effect of earthquakes and typhoons,which often occur in Taiwan. 2

  19. GUIDE REMINDER Home The most attractive floors are the restaurant levels on floor 86-88 and observation decks on floor 89, 91 and 101, which offer wonderful views of Taipei for people. And on floors 1-4; a department store is available. And there are fitness centers, and offices on the other floors. 3

GUIDE REMINDER Home National Palace Museum In the National palace museum, there is an enormous treasure trove collected from the various Chinese dynasties which have been preserved and inherited from the previous imperial palace of the Cing Dynasty. And in 1925, the National Palace Museum was formally opened for the public to view the important and invaluable exhibition. 1

  21. GUIDE REMINDER Home Due to war, the most precious objects in the Museum’s collection were sent southward or westward. Eventually, the total of 2,972 crates were shipped in three groups to Taiwan in 1948. And a new museum was built at Wuaishuang- si in 1965. 2
