21. Using Folio Overlays • When you are designing an InDesign publication for the iPad, you can place sound and video files as you normally would, with one important exception: in order for a sound or video file to play, it must be on the document page.

29. Using Folio Overlays • While auto-playing sound and video files are fairly common in iPad presentations, you will find many times that you don’t want them to play automatically.

44. Uploading to the iPad with Folio Builder • The formats listed in the menu are JPEG, PNG and PDF. These are all image formats. This is because InDesign documents are converted to images when they’re added to a folio as articles.
