  1. Legacy Classical Christian Academy: Shaping Future Leaders Introduction Legacy Classical Christian Academy is more than just a school. As a coeducational classical Christian institution, we combine a robust academic curriculum with a Christ-centered education, o?ering students a unique opportunity to grow both intellectually and spiritually. Located in the North Fort Worth/Haslet area, we serve students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, utilizing the University-Model® of education to ensure students receive an unparalleled education. At Legacy Classical Christian Academy, we believe in the power of a classical education, which emphasizes critical thinking, character development, and a strong moral foundation rooted in Christian values. Our mission is to prepare students not only for academic success but for lifelong learning, leadership, and service to others. What is Classical Christian Education? Classical Christian education is a time-honored approach to learning that has shaped many of the greatest minds in history. The classical model focuses on the Trivium, which divides learning into three stages: Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric. These stages align with the cognitive

  2. development of children, making it a highly e?ective way to teach students at each stage of their intellectual and moral growth. Grammar Stage (Pre-K - 6th grade) In the early years, students are like sponges, eager to absorb information. The Grammar stage focuses on foundational knowledge—learning facts, vocabulary, rules, and basic concepts in subjects such as math, science, history, and language arts. This stage builds the groundwork for more advanced thinking and learning. Logic Stage (7th - 9th grade) As students enter adolescence, they naturally begin to question the world around them and seek to understand the relationships between di?erent ideas. The Logic stage introduces students to formal reasoning, debate, and critical thinking, helping them connect the dots between the knowledge they’ve acquired and how it applies to real-life situations. Rhetoric Stage (10th - 12th grade) In the final stage of classical education, students learn how to express themselves persuasively and articulately. They engage in advanced writing, speaking, and discussion, building on the knowledge and reasoning skills they developed in the earlier stages. This equips students to communicate e?ectively in any setting—whether in the classroom, in leadership roles, or in their future careers. At Legacy Classical Christian Academy, the Trivium guides our educational approach, allowing us to tailor instruction to the developmental needs of our students. By the time they graduate, our students are not only academically proficient but also capable of reasoning, communicating, and living out their faith in a meaningful way.

  3. The University-Model®: A Hybrid Approach One of the unique features of Legacy Classical Christian Academy is our adoption of the University-Model® of education. This innovative approach combines the benefits of traditional classroom learning with the flexibility of homeschooling, o?ering families the best of both worlds. How It Works In the University-Model®, students attend classes on campus for part of the week (typically two or three days), where they receive instruction from qualified teachers. On the other days, students complete assignments at home under the guidance of their parents or guardians. This structure allows for a highly personalized education that fosters independence, time management, and a strong family connection. For many families, the University-Model® o?ers a balanced approach to education. It allows students to receive the benefit of professional instruction while also spending quality time at home, where parents can play an active role in their child’s academic and spiritual development. The model also promotes responsibility and self-discipline, as students must learn to manage their time and workload e?ectively. Christ-Centered Worldview At Legacy Classical Christian Academy, our goal is to cultivate a Christ-centered worldview in each of our students. This means that every subject, whether it's math, science, literature, or history, is taught from a biblical perspective. We believe that all truth is God’s truth, and by integrating Christian principles into our curriculum, we help students see how their faith applies to every aspect of life. Spiritual Formation In addition to rigorous academics, we place a strong emphasis on spiritual formation. Our students are encouraged to grow in their faith through daily prayer, Bible study, and worship. They are taught to think critically about the world around them, to defend their faith with grace and humility, and to serve others in their communities. As they grow academically, they also grow spiritually, developing a deep understanding of what it means to live a life of purpose and integrity. Character Development We believe that education is not just about acquiring knowledge; it’s about developing character. At Legacy Classical Christian Academy, we strive to instill values such as honesty, respect, diligence, and compassion in our students. Through mentorship, service projects, and a positive school culture, we teach students to become servant- leaders who seek to honor God in all that they do.

  4. Academically Advanced Curriculum While our commitment to Christian values is foundational, we also believe in providing a rigorous and academically advanced curriculum that prepares students for success in college and beyond. Our faculty members are passionate about their subjects and dedicated to helping students reach their full potential. STEM Education In today’s rapidly changing world, a strong foundation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) is essential. At Legacy Classical Christian Academy, we o?er a comprehensive STEM program that encourages students to think critically and solve complex problems. Our students have the opportunity to engage in hands-on experiments, advanced math courses, and technology integration, all while learning how these disciplines reflect the order and creativity of God’s creation. Humanities and the Arts In addition to STEM, we place a strong emphasis on the humanities and the arts. Our students study literature, history, philosophy, and the fine arts, learning to appreciate the richness of human culture and creativity. By reading classical works of literature and engaging with art and music, students develop an understanding of the human experience through the lens of faith. Foreign Language Learning a foreign language is an integral part of a classical education. At Legacy Classical Christian Academy, students have the opportunity to study Latin, as well as modern languages such as Spanish. Studying Latin helps students develop a deeper understanding of language structure and vocabulary, while modern language instruction equips them to communicate in our increasingly global society. A Supportive Community One of the defining features of Legacy Classical Christian Academy is the sense of community that permeates everything we do. Our faculty, families, and sta? are all dedicated to the same mission: to help our students grow academically, spiritually, and personally. We believe that education is a partnership between the school and the family, and we work closely with parents to ensure that each child is supported and encouraged every step of the way. Parental Involvement In the University-Model®, parents play a vital role in their child’s education. By overseeing their child’s home study, parents have the opportunity to be actively involved in their learning journey. We provide resources, training, and support to ensure that parents feel confident in guiding their children through the academic material. This collaboration strengthens the bond between home and school, creating a unified approach to education.

  5. Extracurricular Activities Beyond the classroom, Legacy Classical Christian Academy o?ers a variety of extracurricular activities that allow students to explore their interests and develop new skills. From athletics to fine arts to service clubs, there are countless opportunities for students to get involved, build friendships, and discover their God-given talents. Preparing Students for the Future At Legacy Classical Christian Academy, our mission is to prepare students not only for academic success but for life. We want our graduates to leave with more than just a diploma; we want them to leave with the knowledge, skills, and character to thrive in whatever path God has for them. Whether they go on to attend college, enter the workforce, or serve in ministry, our students are equipped to make a di?erence in the world for Christ. Through our classical Christian education and the University-Model®, we are preparing the next generation of leaders—individuals who are not only academically capable but also spiritually grounded and morally strong.
