It is commonly worn by numerous married women in India because of cultural beliefs. The bicchiya is made up of precious metals like silver and gold and they always come in a pair. Each ring from the bicchiya or toe ring is usually worn on the second digit of both feet. However, a majority of consumers prefer Toe rings made of silver metal because they are believed to bring good luck and fortune to the bearer. This charming accessory is worn by women at the time of their marriage and is not removed throughout their lifetime.
