Type “C:Program FilesIntuit” in the Run window and then press the Enter key. • Look for the QuickBooks Year folder and open it. • Select the QBDBMgrN.exe file and then click on the Next button. • Choose the Allow the Connection option and then select the Next button. • Make sure to choose all the profiles as prompted and then select the Next button. • Create a new rule with the name “QBFirewallException(name.exe).” • Repeat the aforementioned steps in the same manner to create outbound rules, except you need to select Outbound Rules instead of Inbound Rules.
