Add “.old” to the name of this file. (QBWUSER.INI.old). • Rename the EntitlementDataStore.ecml file too. • Open the file. • If it opens from the new location, this means the issue arose from corrupted files. • If you fail to login, you must repair your company file. • If it does not open, you need to re-install QuickBooks.

Method 4: Create a New Admin User • Click on Windows. • Navigate to Settings. • Click on Accounts. • Tap on Family & Other Users. • Select Account Owner Name. • Click on Change Account Type. • Select Administrator. • Hit OK. • Sign in with a new Admin account. • Open your File using this account.
