Navigate through your desktop folders to locate where the QBWUSER.INI. exe. • Click on the folder. • Select the QBWUSER.INI.FILE file. • Tap on Rename. • Add .old to the name. • Rename the ecml.file also. • Open QuickBooks to check if the issue is resolved.
Solution 2: Fix QuickBooks installation. • Press Ctrl + Alt + Del keys on your keyboard. • Select Task Manager. • Click on Processes. • Tap on the QuickBooks Processes. • Select End Process. • Terminate all the QuickBooks processes. • Open QuickBooks. • Tap on Repair QuickBooks. • Follow the wizard appearing on the screen. • Reboot your system.
Solution 3: Build a New User • Click on Windows. • Type in Control Panel. • Hit Enter. • The Control Panel window will be displayed. • Double click on User Accounts. • Select Manage User. • Click on Add. • Input details for a New Windows Admin User. • Hit OK. • Save as Administrator. • Tap on the Finish button. • Reboot your system as this New User.
Solution 4: Install QuickBooks with Clean Install • Right-click on the QuickBooks icon. • Tap on the Uninstall option. • Hit OK. • Press Windows key + R. • The Run window will be displayed. • Type MSCONFIG in the search space. • Hit OK. • Navigate to the General option. • Click on Selective Startup. • Uncheck Load Startup Items. • Hit OK. • Tap on the Restart button. • You can later switch back to Normal Startup, following the steps above and reboot your pc again.
