The Easy Guide to Fix QuickBooks Web Connector Error  QuickBooks Web Connector is a Microsoft Windows application that allows third party web-based applications to exchange data with QuickBooks Desktop products such as QB Financial Software and QB Point of sale.   3. Error Code QBWC1006 Cause- The issue arises when the web connector fails to locate QWCLog.txt file. Solution- To fix the issue, locate the QWCLog.txt file and fix its permissions, follow the steps mentioned below: Press the Windows and E keys together to open the File Explorer in Windows. Now, locate the QWCLog.txt file by following the path: “C: Drive > Users> Public > AppData > local > IntuitQuickBooks Web Connector > Version directory. Choose the QWClog.txt file and then ensure that it’s not write-protected. Follow the below given steps to remove the write protection. Right-click on the QWClog.txt file and click the Properties tab. In the Properties window, select Read Only to remove the checkmark. Click the Apply button and then select OK.
