He is convicted of a crime he did not commit and is sent to the Camp Green Lake juvenile detention center. Through his experience at the hellish Camp Green Lake he becomes physically stronger and more self-confident. He befriends Zero. • Camp Green Lake

  3. Letter to Mom • Dear Mom • Today was my first day at camp, and I've already made some friends. We've been out on the lake all day, so I’m pretty tired. Once I pass the swimming test, I’ll Get to learn how to water-ski. Tomorrow we learn to rock climb.

Problem / Resolution • Stanley yelnats problems were : • (Problem) He had no food or water, (Solution) He climbed to god’s big thumb. • (Problem) He had a curse, (Solution) He carried Zero up the mountain and sung to him wile he drank from the stream. • (Problem) He was poor, (Solution) He dug up Kissing Kate Barlow's treasure!!!
