Following Interconnection Points (IP’s) are part of the pilot project: GTS OSZ  NetConnect Germany Hi-cal (EGT-H) GTS OSZ  Wingas Hi-cal (WIN-H) GTS OSZ  Gaspool Hi-cal (GUD-H) Tradable Products offered on Platform: (Working) Day Ahead Capacity Weekend Capacity APX-ENDEX acts as Central Counter Party offering guaranteed anonymity to its users (A sells to APX and APX resells to B) Members can’t exclude other members from trading them (e.g. no short list) Connection Points and Products

Number of participants that have agreement in place: On GTS side: 5 Members with Trading Rights 5 Members with View Only rights On Gas pool (GUD-H) side: 3 Members with Trading Rights 7 Members with View Only Rights On NCG (EGT-H) side and on Wingas (WIN-H) side: 0 Members with Trading Rights 10 Members with View Only rights In its lifetime only 1 (one) trade was made on the Platform Members and Trades Executed

LOOKING BACK Platform?  Used for Commodity trading, should have been mapped to Trayport with translator (Industry Standard for trading) Legal work Initial hurdle but can be overcome Right product chosen? Maybe not, a lot of work for little to no gain from a trading/market perspective Regulatory Issues APX can only be active on the German Market Areas under the pilot status due to regulatory constraints LOOKING FORWARD APX-ENDEX still committed to improve Gas Markets and connectivity Review pilot  Lessons learnt  Improve process and products BUT: How does secondary capacity trading fit as part of a coherent set of arrangements?
