Ladder • Structured like a step ladder • A player is placed on each rung of the ladder • Players on lower rungs challenge players on higher rungs. • Scheduling and playing of matches is usually the responsibility of the players
Rules • Players can challenge 1 or 2 positions ahead of them • The higher rank player must accept the challenge from the lower rank or they forfeit their position • You can not play the same opponent twice in a row • Game play will be frozen at a determined time to clarify the winner
Pyramid • Top of the pyramid is the highest ranking position • Participants can challenge 1 or 2 positions ahead • It is important to number the positions so that the players will know which direction to follow
