Financial Standing / Goals We are doing well with pledges collection and finances Two Most Important Challenges / Goals: 1] Continue efforts for quickest possible collection efforts 2] Collect $70,000 in new pledges to cover operating budget for 2013 3] Collect funds for Capital Improvement Projects

Capital Projects – BOT Considerations • Expense - $10,000 • Issues: • Must Be Fully Funded with new pledges • Cleaning (kids coming in temple dirty) • Safety – One parent must be on premises supervising • Sanctity – Temple’s religious aura must be preserved • Cleanliness – Maintenance of playarea

  5. Goal – Website - 2/2013 Meeting WEBSITE • ANNUAL SCHEDULE FOR 2013 • KEY PROGRAM DATES • SPEAKER SCHEDULE FOR 2013 • WEEKLY SCHEDULES

  6. JCOCO – New Website is up and Running! • Base in Built • Hosting Done • Information regarding Past Events, Calendar Events – In Progress – To be completed by 6/1/13 • 80% Complete

  7. Goal - HOW DO I PAY? • * WE NEED TO COLLECT PLEDGES OF $352,102 IN 2013 • MONTHLY AUTO PAY SCHEMES • PAYPAL PAYMENTS USING CREDIT CARD AT THE TEMPLE • This will be in place in May’ 2013 (we are running late due to bank account transfer and some admin issues) - 30% Complete

  8. Goal - FINANCES • USE OF QUICKBOOKS • ONE-CLICK STATEMENTS – QUARTERLY • Complete – All Account Reports are Current in Quickbooks – Terrific Job by Bela / Dharmendra Pokharna / Pratik Dalal / Mahendra Prasanna • 100% Complete

  9. Goal - DYNAMIC PROGRAMS • NEW ACTIVITIES SUCH AS JAIN FOOD TASTING, BOOK CLUBS, • OPPORTUNITIES FOR NEW TEACHERS AND PROGRAM COORDINATORS • NEW SPEAKERS (ATLEAST ONE NEW SPEAKER PER YEAR) • HOLDING ON OUR CORE POOJAS, SPEAKERS, VIDHIS,

Review • Ongoing Successful Results • 32 Kids participated in MJK – All Jains!! • Terrific Enrollment in Hindi Class • Terrific Enrollment in Gujarati Class • Good Attendance in Jain BAR Classes • More Participation can be had in Jain Sense, Samayik classes, Saturday Poojan, Digambara Poojan and few other programs • Good Volunteering for Sunday food offerings • Ongoing Progress • Educational Chair Committee will work on this and finalize their program for most engaging class schedule starting 2013 Fall

  11. COMMUNITY OUTREACH (EC AND ALL VOLUNTEERS) - Update • Had One Meeting with Lewis Center Faith Organizations • Interfaith Prayer Ceremonies • Interfaith Jain Book Reading (Rakesh / Salgia Uncle) • Yoga Program Expansion and More Community Members Participating
