Enhancing Lab Safety Awareness Through Engaging Charades for 8th Grade Science

DESCRIPTION

In this interactive activity, 8th-grade students will enhance their understanding of laboratory safety by participating in a Charades game focused on safe practices during lab and field investigations, as per Texas Safety Standards (TEK 1.A). Working in small groups, students will act out various lab scenarios while correctly demonstrating safety protocols and using appropriate equipment, such as goggles and beakers. This hands-on approach fosters collaboration, critical thinking, and communication, allowing students to learn essential safety measures in a fun and engaging way.
