  9. Resources A collaborate design process is essential for adopting/adapting rubrics Self-assessment questions: • Do we have InTASC and Oregon ISLLC Standards already in place? • What are our plans to train our teachers/administrators on using the standards to promote effective practice? • Do we currently have a 4-level rubric in place that is aligned to the standards? • How does our rubric compare with the ODE provided samples? • Do we want to adopt/adapt these rubrics? If we adapt, what changes will we make? • Are there specialists who need different indicators to more accurately describe what they do? • What is our staff’s level of understanding of our rubric? • What are our plans to provide professional development to teachers and administrators?

Updated Timeline By July 1, 2013 all districts will submit implementation plans for their revised evaluation system During the 2013-2014 school year • All evaluations of teachers and administrators will be under the new evaluation system to comply with SB 290 • Districts will implement initial plans for their revised evaluation and support systems and utilize this year to refine their local systems • Because it’s the first year, student learning and growth results will be not required in the summative evaluation
