Empowering Newcomers: Automated Tutor App at Jolla Code Camp
The "Automated Tutor" app, presented at the Jolla Code Camp by Fisayo Sangogboye and team, aims to assist foreign students at Lappeenranta University of Technology, where over 30% of the student body are international. Understanding the difficulty of the Finnish language for newcomers, this single-page mobile app provides essential information about local events and locations through an interactive map. Utilizing Google Maps and Directions APIs, it offers user-friendly features such as street view and satellite view, ensuring newcomers can navigate and integrate smoothly into their new environment.
