Filing OfficialIn Accordance with the Michigan Campaign Finance Act (PA 388 of 1976 MCL 169.201-16.282) • “Filing official” means the official designated under this act to receive required statements and reports, MCL 169.207 (3) • Review campaign statements and determine compliance with the MCFA • Notify persons that have failed to file a campaign statement • Notify filers of error or omissions in the campaign statements Section MCL 169.216 (16) • Statute related questions should be referred to the Bureau of Elections
