This study highlights the benefits of using two peer support assistants instead of one paraeducator for students with disabilities (SWD). It reveals that having two peers increases engagement, enhances social interactions, and reduces stigma associated with disabilities. By training peers to adapt materials, implement behavior plans, and provide feedback, SWDs can access the general curriculum more effectively. The findings suggest that peer support fosters greater educational and social inclusion, leading to improved outcomes for SWDs in mainstream classrooms.
