Siesta Key Artist Photographer Sean Looney

http://www.looneyphotography.com Siesta Key Farmer’s Market is the place to be if you are looking for local art. Sean Looney, one of the artists who displays his photography is especially important to check out as he captures the best of the local beaches. His “Splash” series, which features mainly surf and crashing waves is especially popular among tourists and Sarasota locals. He also incorporates local drift wood trees from Point of Rocks and Longboat Key- or as the locals call it “Beer Can Island”. Although he has been selling his pictures on Siesta Key for years now, you can also find his art in the lobby of the Longboat Key Club the resort commissioned him back in 2008. Sean’s beautiful and very portable photos are the perfect souvenir for the art-loving snowbird. You can find Sean every Sunday morning at the Siesta Key Farmer’s Market located in the heart of Siesta Key Village. You can also find his work on his website:www.looneyphotography.com Article written by local artist Vanessa Simonard www.vanessasimonard.com
