Melissa the founder and owner of Meli Gusto came to Florida from a small suburb of Paris, France. She began working in a farmers market at the young age of 15 while also attending school for tourism. After school, her passion for travel and food brought her around the world where she discovered the eclectic flavor profiles that influence her unique jams. During her travels to Asia, she learned how different types of food affect your body and health and how to eat with a purpose. Because Melissa's recipes are influenced by her travels, the flavors are wildly different than the standard jams you will find in your local grocery store. They are named for the cities that inspired them. They range from a sweet, tropical pineapple coconut to a spicy pear habanero to a savory jalapeños bell pepper. All ingredients are locally sourced and freshly made. Flavors change with the season and availability so you can always expect something new.
