  1. Facts for November 3 November 1718 John Montagu Fourth Earl of Sandwich was born in London. He is said to have created the first sandwich in 1778. He was playing cards, got hungry and so he could carry on playing cards he asked his servants to bring him some meat placed between 2 slices of bread.

  5. What’s on ?? We have poppies in school which the P7 pupils will go around classes with on: • Tuesday 4 November • Wednesday 5 November • Thursday 6 November • Friday 7 November If children wish to have a poppy they should bring in a donation on any of the above days. Thank you.

  7. Halloween Discos Thank you to all who came along to the Halloween Disco’s on Thursday evening. Special thanks to all the Buddies who came along to help. A total of £1020 was raised to go towards the P7 Lagganlia Trip.

  8. Papdale’s Got Talent Thank you to everyone who auditioned. A total of 21 Acts are through to the Semi Finals. These will take part on the following days P3 – 5 Wednesday Break and Lunch time P6 & 7 Thursday Break and Lunch time (Steel Pans Room)

  9. Mini League Finals Week – please check the fixture lists. For the next session of mini league please add your name and class to the lists which will be displayed in the P4 – 7 Foyer all this week. Corridor Rules Please Remember Walk Sensibly Keep to the Left Be Quiet Mrs Dufort and Mr Linklater will be watching!!!
