  8. What False Teachers Do Peter 2:1b-3 “Heresy” = "their own opinions" Heresy begins with a shift away from the grammatical - historical method of interpretation Heresy can result in eternal damnation - Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, etc.

  16. Conclusions False teachers will come - they already abound around us False teachers will be punished. God will preserve or rescue, but we must be ready in the present

  17. Conclusions Noah was righteous & preserved for he heard & obeyed God Lot was righteous, but had to be rescued because he hesitated to obey Study & learn the Scriptures so that you will be preserved and help protect others from false teachers
