  7. REASONS OF SUCCESS OF OPEN WELL • Shallow Water Level • Aquifer are very hard and compact with depth. • No increase in yield with depth. • Result of drilled exploratory tubewell, observation • well and piezometers are not favourable.

  8. OPEN WELL TECHNICAL ASPECTS Wells Sanctioned ( 2015-16) : 7770 Approx Total Area Irrigated : 3885 Hect.
