It refers to the organization of knowledge for the achievement of practical purposes as well as any tool or technique of doing or making, by which capability is extended.

  9. Web 1.0 The term "Web 1.0" is commonly associated with the state of the world wide webpre-2001. The time was characterized the one-way flow of information, websites with “read-only” material and slow and dial-up computer speeds. Compared to today’s standards, computer literacy was low.
