  1. What What It's It's Like Like to to Have Have Psoriasis Psoriasis A disease with an unknown aetiology characterised by inflammation brought on by immune system failure, psoriasis is an immune-mediated illness* that produces inflammation in the body. Inflammation may manifest physically as scales and elevated plaques on the skin (plaques may appear differently in individuals with different skin types). This happens when an overactive immune system hastens the proliferation of skin cells. In a month, normal skin cells fully develop and shed (come off). Skin cells only complete this process in three to four days in this condition. Instead of shedding, skin cells gather on the skin's surface. Some patients claim that the plaques caused by the disease are itch, burn, and sting.

  2. The following are a few of the disease’s types:-  Scalp Psoriasis. It is a common skin condition. Depending on your skin tone, it could appear differently. It frequently appears as elevated, reddish-coloured patches with white scales on people with light to medium complexion. The patches may be purple, and the scales may be grey on darker skin. It may affect your entire scalp or just a few patches here and there. Your forehead, the back of your neck, and the area behind and inside your ears may also be affected.  The skin areas that make up plaque psoriasis are elevated, inflammatory, scaly, and may also be unpleasant and irritating. Plaques often show up as elevated, red areas on Caucasian skin that are covered in a silvery-white accumulation of dead skin cells or scale. On the skin of colour, the plaques may seem thicker, darker, and more purple, grey, or darker brown in colour.  Plaque psoriasis can be found anywhere on the body, but the scalp, knees, elbows, and chest are where they are most frequently found. Plaques typically affect the same parts of the body on both the right and left sides, and they typically appear symmetrically.  Inverse psoriasis manifests in body folds as lesions darker than the surrounding skin and purple- or brown-hued. It presents as brilliant red lesions in body folds on Caucasian skin. It might seem shiny and smooth. Many persons who have inverse psoriasis also have other types of the disease on different parts of their bodies.  The armpits, groyne (including the genitalia), under the breasts, and other body skin folds are common locations for inverse psoriasis. Due to its placement in skin folds and sensitive places, it can be made worse by rubbing and perspiration. Due to the wet environment, it typically lacks the scale that is associated with plaque psoriasis. People with deep skin creases and those who are overweight are more likely to develop inverse psoriasis.  A chronic dermatosis with an unclear aetiology, psoriasis vulgaris is characterised by skin inflammation and hyperproliferation. Plaque psoriasis is the most prevalent type of condition, which causes skin lesions that are elevated, red, and scaly. Chronic plaque psoriasis can range in intensity from moderate, which has a minor influence on quality of life, to severe, which significantly impacts people's lives. Bharat Homeopathy offers psoriasis treatment that’s side-effect free and is tailored to every patient’s needs and symptoms.
