  4. Introduction • We are very honored to be here in the Closing Conference of X-Cross in this beautiful City of Rio de Janeiro. • We represent the 54 pupils who participated directly in the Project and 30 passive pupils since august 2006 in three schools in Miraflores.

  5. Introduction The three schools from Miraflores are: • Juana Alarco de Dammert school. • Federico Villarreal school. • Scipion E. Llona school.

  6. We are sure that the Closing Conference will be an amazing experience. We are going to share with you our experiences and interests. We hope you will enjoy this presentation… Introduction

  7. About the Project The easiest part of the project was: Making Power Point presentations. Animation.

  8. About the Project • The most amusing part was: • Video filming. • Performing on camera. • Video cutting. • How to handle the camera.

  9. The hardest part was: Making SofTV (specially when we have to publish it with XML). Uploading our e-lessons. About the Project

  10. About the Project • What the project gave us: • Self confidence. • Higher self esteem. • International contact with students from other countries. • Learning new software.

  11. About the Project • Talking in front of an audience. • To have new opportunities for working in the future. • Improving our English language.

  12. In Miraflores four pupils (three of them Delegates in this Conference) became IT trainers. They trained the new pupils during the summer 2008 in Power Point, video filming, video cutting and SofTV. About the Project

  15. The three schools produced 12 e-lessons as a whole. We will present samples of the videos and SofTV. About the e-lessons

  16. About the e-lessons • Topic: “Ten suggestions to prevent the global warmth from home”. • School: Juana Alarco de Dammert. • Softv: Power Point and photographs.

  17. About the e-lessons • We had a lot of fun doing it, specially when we took the photograph of all of us in a car. • Saving gasoline!

  19. About the e-lessons • Topic:Nutrients. • School: Juana Alarco de Dammert in 2006. • D-lecture. • We presented it in the Workshop in Rio in 2007.

  20. About the e-lessons • We were the first school making a d-lecture in X-CROSS in Miraflores. • We are very proud of it. • It was hard to talk in front of a camera according to the Power Point.

  25. About the e-lessons • Filming the video was an awesome experience. • Filming and walking with the video camera over the marsh, almost floating on the creek, was a bit complicated.
