  3. What if school teams could do one or two things and meet the requirements for all programs?What if everything revolved around a continuous improvement model, instead of compliance?

  4. Continuous Improvement first. Compliance second. Key to Success: State Administrative Team encourages integration of state planning and reporting functions from various divisions within the SEA and uses Indistar forms and reports for this purpose.

Supplemental forms • If an SEA team looks at the indicators first, most compliance pieces should be met, with the exception of the following: • Signature documents • Supplemental questions • Budget pieces • All of these may be added in Indistar for schools to supplement their school improvement plan.

  7. Goal: Create a solid, continuous, sustainable school improvement plan that also meets compliance.
