  2. What is it • Self-Injury involves intentional Burning, Punching, and Drinking something that is very harmful like bleach or detergent

  3. Who does it affect • It affects around 2 million people in the U.S Mainly teenagers and young adults.

  4. Why do they do this • This mainly occurs so people can express emotional pain. • It’s a way they control there body when they can’t control anything else.

  5. How to help • If you think someone is victim of self-injury the might be glad that you are to bring it up.

  6. How to help yourself • Know that you are not alone because so many people are self-injurers • You can talk to your schools counselor
