  2. Design #1 : To be called Noah’s Ark and as it is #1 Prototype it will be called NA-1 Description : This will use its GPS to find the location to spread the food to the poor people and use its wheels to get there . However , to even get to that region it must be dropped off by an airplane using its steel and Gotanium* harness and its Kevlar fabric parachute . It has a pressure sensor so that it knows if there is a riot for food as people will attack it . It will shoot out cold water at them . The hot water at the ground to warn them of no fighting . It will talk to that villages leader using its country and language database and find out how much food they need . If necessary it will count how many people there are with its visual sensor . It will then distribute food from its chest area . It will be powered by two car batteries and the V12 from a Ferrari 599 . Also solar panels .

  3. Design #1

  4. Good Points It is very compact and will be very durable . Most of the parts are easily replaceable . It can be powered by something easily accessible .

  5. Bad Points The engine and batteries will be expensive . It will attract unwanted attention To fix them : Use a cheaper engine and no car batteries Build each one for a certain country so that they match them culturally .

  21. Description of How It Works • The robot is powered by 4 AAA batteries. The track will help it move up the stairs and the wheels will help it move on the ground. The robot’s arm will go up and reach the person on a bed using a hinge and 2 pullies. The arm and the soft material will nudge the person by moving up and down so the person wakes up. The voice recorder will play the recorded voice on the given time. The sensors will sense where the person sleeping is and it will realize if its putting to much pressure. The clock and actuators are there so when it is whatever time is given, it can activate the robot alarm and make it move towards the person. The triangle top is just to make the design better.

  22. Good Points and Bad Points • It meets all my Design Specifications. It won’t hurt the person while nudging it and it has a voice recorder. It can sense where the person is and if it is putting to much pressure. So it won’t be dangerous. The wheels and track will make it move easily, and when it has to reach up for the person, the arm can rise using a pulley. Also the design is good and a costumer might want to buy it. • The bad things about this might be that it could fall down into a gap while moving towards the sleeping person. But I could improve in that by making it be able to sense ground ahead before moving. Then it could take turns while going to the same direction.

  23. Design: (Place picture here) Description of Design: this design is a bit complicated but has a slight unique design. It is powered by battery and is equipped with suspension an eye, speakers, sensors, a compartment, tires, lights, and arms. Explain how your Design meets the Design Specification: it meets beyond my simple design specification with extra stuff like lights and suspension. Analysis of Design Good points: it’s unique and has a good and reliable, cheap energy source. Bad points: some specifications may not be achievable. Ways it can be improved: some parts are maybe not necessary so it could be simpler.

  24. Choice I choose Design #1 Why: Because out of 8 Specs it met 7.5 of them . The other two don’t come close so it is an obvious choice .
