  9. Stamp act required all colonists to buy special tax stamps for all kinds of products and activities. The stamps had to be placed on newspapers, wills, licenses, insurance policies, land titles, contracts, etc. Boston Tea Party: colonists dressed as Native American Indians and boarded a British tea ship and dumped it all overboard.
