Arts and Crafts Gallery Reception – 25 April • - Check out artistry by military and base personnel; View in the Bldg 500 Atrium today and Thursday (24-25 April) • - Reception 25 April at 1500; refreshments will be served; certificates and prizes to participants will be given • Operation: Megaphone Worldwide TEEN Lock-In – 26-27 April • - All teens of base personnel invited to participate; They will compete against other DoD Teen Centers across the globe • - Challenges will be provided through social media once the lock-in begins • - Recommended cost of entry is donation to Garfield County Child Advocacy Center • - Deadline to sign up is today (24 April); call 213-7166 for instructions • YpologyPRETEEN Lock-In – 3-4 May • - All preteens of base personnel invited to participate in science/technology/engineering/math camp-like weekend • - Goal is to take educational approach to academic processes using real world applications at the Youth Center • - Deadline to sign up is 1 May; call 213-7474 to register • Mother’s Day activities – 12 May • - Moms get the first game and shoe rental FREE at the Bowling Center from 1300-2100; prize drawings throughout day • - Treat Mom to brunch at the Vance Collocated Club from 1030-1400; cost is $19.95 for members/$24.95 for non- members RSVP by calling 213-7595 • Run To Summer 5K / Summer Block Party – 23 May • - Run To Summer 5K at 1500; starts/ends Brown Parkway; registration prior to run at 1430; free T-shirts • - Summer Block Party at 1600-1730; food, games, music, prizes and FSS booths along Brown Parkway • - America’s Armed Forces Kids Run at 1630; one section of Brown Parkway; register prior to run at 1400; free T-shirts Upcoming Events(www.vance71fss.com) OPR: 71 FSS/FSK Ruth Ann Replogle
