Lessens Learned (1)Comments of my colleagues Markus: • Timely and structure approach to complete the proposal   • Amicably relations within a strong consortium • Support and knowledge of colleagues within AIT and their enthusiasm • Supportof the AIT management to allow for a maximum of flexibility in working on creative scientific contributions Florian: • Idea of ECOSSIAN is right on time to support these initiatives. • The consortium consists of an optimal mix of academics/research, industrial partners and national bodies. • All work package leaders have plenty of experience in EU projects, know how to approach goals, and are professional and reliable partners. This helped a lot in the proposal preparation phase.

Lessens Learned (2)Comments of my colleagues Paul: • A strong consortium, which was appreciated by the reviewers. • The users group, that we prepared was a strong point that helped • Internally, we were well prepared from a content perspective • The proposers day turned out to be surprisingly useful, i.e., via discussions with the PO, to read between the lines of the proposal text, … • As an institution, I think we were well-placed to coordinate the proposal from a content perspective, i.e., with the three departments taking part • I think we built on previous successes, e.g., with SECCRIT in last Security call
