  2. It took the radio 38 years to reach 50 million people. It took the television 13 years to reach that audience. But it took the Internet only 4 years. Years

  4. A quarter of the world's countries still do not have one telephone per 100 people.

  5. What is ICT? • ICT stands for Information and Communications Technology. It includes all electronic devices used to communicate.

  6. In order for ICT to be distributed to 3rd world countries, people must not only be able to access computers, they must be able to access the internet too.

  12. Problems with ICT While technology can help nations a lot, there are still many problems with it. While some nations can afford helpful technology to help them advance, most of the countries that have access to ICT are already in 1st world countries.
