    3. Healthy Settings Settings can normally be identified as having physical boundaries (including geographical), a range of people with defined roles and an organisational structure. Settings approach focuses on bringing about organisational and practice changes to create a more health promoting environment.

    4. Healthy Settings To encourage the application of the principles of health promotion in a variety of health settings (including hospitals, palliative care, emergency departments, general practitioners) and settings broader than health (including cities, schools, enterprises, prisons, brothels, churches, universities). Health cities was the first WHO settings project - beginning in 1986.
