  4. Finance Assistance The following financial assistance is available • Capital Assistance A maximum of 50% of the cost of eligible fixed assets or €75,000 in investments not exceeding €150,000 At least 50% of the above grant assistance shall be repayable. i.e. refundable loan or preference share financing • Employment Grant A maximum of €6,350 per job subject to a limit of 10 jobs (only in cases where labour shortages do not exist) • Feasibility Study Grant A maximum limit of 50% of appropriate costs subject to a maximum limit of €5,100

  5. Restrictions • Aimed specifically at Manufacturing and Trading Services • The CEB is only concerned with projects that will employ at least 1 and a maximum of 10 people. • The approval of financial assistance by the Board is confined to projects where theinvestment does not exceed €150,000. The CEB cannot support the following: 1. Retail, Wholesale , Distribution projects and Consultancy Services with Grant Assistance but will provide Business Advice & Training. 2. Businesses which directly interfere or compete with any similar business already in existence in the area

  6. Application and Approval Process Initial discussion with enterprise board staff Submit Formal Application Evaluation Committee Recommendation Board Approval Letter of offer Project completion and grant payment

Training and Management Development programmes • Equip people starting out in business with the basic skills • Focus on areas of particular training needs • Continuous Training development within businesses areas Training Courses for Managers and staff Start your own business course Basic Book-Keeping Computerised Accounts Employment Legislation Health & Safety Costing and Pricing Marketing & Sales workshops IT Related Programmes Growing your own Business Owner Management Development Programme Business Networks Tech Check Mentoring CEB will assist people wishing to attend Exhibitions and Trade shows
