Mission of the faculty Provide the community with physicians who are competent in diagnosis and treatment of its health problems and who are applying professional ethics aspiring to enrich medical sciences with scientific researches that participate in solving community problems and providing integrated medical care that cope with modern technologies

Vision of the faculty Alexandria Faculty of Medicine is aspiring to be an excellence and creativity model in medical education, scientific research and effectiveness in community participation that will position it in the top level between its peers on the national, regional and   international levels.

Propagate awareness of the concept of intellectual property between staff , employees , students Role of Ethics Committee Assessment of all project and research plans in faculty of medicine and monitoring clinical research Initiation of a new degree in medical ethics for the post graduate students, new courses as Ethics of publications . Ethics of care of special pts , Medical ethics II Investigate and interrogate any ethical violation between staff , students and patients Help to acquire appropriate professional attitudes , communication, and problem solving skills to under and post graduate students with cooperation of FM dep .

Recommendation To improve our tasks 1- Extend Monitoring of all research work not only the projects of clinical trial center 2- Initiate subcommittee to follow up patients complaints in our faculty hospitals ( 11 in 2016 ) with the integration of Alexandria medical syndicate 3-Increase the awareness of patient’s rights and responsibilities 4- Specify subcommittee for medical ethics consultation 5- Workshops for ME education
