Transfers San Jose State University • As a district, we transferred 523 students in 2016-17 to San Jose State University, an increase of almost 10% from last year. • Over the past decade, Evergreen Valley College transfers more students to San Jose State University than San Jose City College. • But, the 10% increase of transfers was evident at both colleges. • Most popular programs to transfer for EVC students last year was Accountancy, Psychology and Criminology. • For San Jose City College, students tend to choose Management, Accountancy and Social Science programs at SJSU.   14. UC Acceptance Rate For 2016-17, SJECCD has the highest acceptance rates for African-American (77%) and Hispanic (75%) students when comparing to Foothill-DeAnza CCD and West-Valley Mission CCD (62%-66%). Source: UC Infocenter
