The CSI Business Office provides financial assistance and guidance to student organizations for managing their finances related to segregated university fees. We also offer advice on checking accounts and financial tracking, and facilitate SAC grants for registered student organizations.   2. Functions of CSI Business Office • Assist student organizations with all facets of their finances related to segregated university fees • Provide general advice/direction regarding other. Checking accounts/financial tracking etc.

  3. SAC Grants Overview • Segregated University Fee – fee collected from most students. • SAC – Senate Allocations Committee • Registered Student Organizations can apply for grants for (travel, events, operations) • Must meet SAC criteria

  4. SAC Grants Overview • There are two grant periods • Jan 1 – June 30 (Spring grants) • July 1 – Dec 31 (Fall grants) • Spring grant period begins Sept-Nov • Fall grant period begins Feb-Apr

  5. SAC Grant Process • Attend mandatory grant training • Apply for grants online – via PantherSync • Attend grant weekend and be prepared to discuss your grant • Approval of grant by SA • Work with CSI business office to use grant funds.
