We also offer advice on checking accounts and financial tracking, and facilitate SAC grants for registered student organizations. Functions of CSI Business Office • Assist student organizations with all facets of their finances related to segregated university fees • Provide general advice/direction regarding other. Checking accounts/financial tracking etc.
SAC Grants Overview • Segregated University Fee – fee collected from most students. • SAC – Senate Allocations Committee • Registered Student Organizations can apply for grants for (travel, events, operations) • Must meet SAC criteria
SAC Grants Overview • There are two grant periods • Jan 1 – June 30 (Spring grants) • July 1 – Dec 31 (Fall grants) • Spring grant period begins Sept-Nov • Fall grant period begins Feb-Apr
SAC Grant Process • Attend mandatory grant training • Apply for grants online – via PantherSync • Attend grant weekend and be prepared to discuss your grant • Approval of grant by SA • Work with CSI business office to use grant funds.
