Important Information • Two Deadlines: March 10, 2014 – RECEIPT deadline May 15, 2014 – edits or corrections must be made by this date to stay in state grant applicant pool • Check with your college or university for institutional aid deadlines *The Division of Student Financial Aid (formerly SSACI) will no longer use paper edit or award letters to communicate with students. SFA will use emails to alert students of their eligibility or required edits. Beginning mid February it is the student’s ultimate responsibility to review their state grant file on eStudent (www.in.gov/sfa/2438.htm) to know if there is anything they need to do before SFA’s correction deadline of May 15, 2014.

  8. Important Information (cont.) • Students/parents need to list an email address on their FAFSA • Students/parents must check their email regularly • Students need to visit www.in.gov/sfa/2438.htm to activate their state grant account for their review.

  9. 21st Century Scholars Info Senior 21st Century Scholars MUST complete an Affirmation form by March 10, 2014 to access their scholarship. Senior 21st Century Scholars MUST complete their FAFSA by the March 10th deadline in order to access their scholarship. 2.0 Final GPA Required! 21st Century Scholars must file a FAFSA each year even if they are not enrolled in college in order to keep their scholarship.
