  1. EXTRA NEWSLETTER! Week 37 - 2011 THE DANISH CULTURAL INSTITUTE INSTITUTE CULTUREL DANOIS DEENS CULTUREEL INSTITUUT BENELUX DetDanske Kulturinstitut/Benelux Rue Royale Koningsstraat 35 1000 Bruxelles / Brussel T: +32 (0) 2 230 73 26 info@dkibenelux.org www.dkibenelux.org DANISH ELECTION NIGHT IN BRUSSELS – THURSDAY 15TH SEPTEMBER AT 7.30 PM. – 02.00 AM. • FINALLY, we have succeeded to find suitable facilities that are needed in order to get a great election night for all of us with excitement up to the national results and the party leader round. But also with beers, drinks and snacks – and a relaxed atmosphere, talks and political conspiracy theory can take place in the corners. All of it takes places in surroundings that are “politicized” for this special evening – with posters, election brochures, balloons and plenty of party sweets, sweet as well as sour. We will follow the destiny of the Danes’ election minute by minute on the channels DR and TV2. • In other words: the election can take place! We are ready! • Hotel Le Méridien Brussels • Carrefour de l’Europe • 1000 Brussels • - it is just opposite the GareCentrale in Brussels. The celebrations begin at 7.30 pm. on the 15th of September 2011 and continues until 02.00 am. • Since it is probably going to be a long night we took into consideration that you might get thirsty or hungry. Hotel Le Méridien Brussels has been so kind to offer us special “election- prizes”: • It is not too late to join us Thursday, so if you know anyone who would like to join us, please forward this mail and ask them to come. Danes, non-Danes, partners, friends, and colleagues – everyone is more than welcome! There is no need to register. Just show up! • See you on Thursday! • Organised by the Danish Parties in Belgium (the Liberal Party, the Social Democrats, the Conservatives, the Social Liberal Party and the Socialist People’s Party), The Danish Club Belgium • and • The Danish Cultural Institute/Benelux Our Events
